Vintage Badge For The British Security Service

This Vintage Badge For The British Security Service is an absolute mystery! I don't know anything about its origin but we found it in a collection we bought several years ago.

The printed label has been inserted in a tamper proof metal holder, with a clear perspex top, to enable you to see the details.

Approximate Size: 9.1 x 6.8 x 1.2 cm

It dates to pre-1999 when the telephone prefix for London changed from 0171 and 0181 to the 020 prefix. 

A nice little addition to a badge collection!
